Today a lot of talk about the difficulties faced by Union pioneer organization at all levels. Criticized the content and form of work, organizational structure, and even attributes. These problems are related to each squad, they are particularly acute in the older Pioneer squads.


In my school we had a small study to determine the ratio of senior pioneers in various aspects of the Pioneer organization. Questionnaire was conducted anonymously. The survey led senior - members of public opinion. Surveyed more than 100 children. The data were processed in the school office computer.


Analyzing the results, we have identified the following picture. Positive attitude to the pioneering organization as a whole were of only 10% of sixth graders and seventh graders 2% (the survey was conducted prior to the transfer school at 11 years of training). The judgment that the Pioneer organization is needed, but should work differently, prevails in the sixth grade (48%). Most seventh graders pioneers (56%) believe that it is needed only in the III-V classes. Negative attitude to the Pioneer organization, "It is not necessary" - the same (18%) were of the six and seventh graders.


As we see, in this age of general dissatisfaction with the guys dominated the Pioneer organization, whereas in class III, all children want to be pioneers.


What caused a negative attitude towards their organization in the older pioneers? We had several suggestions: boys attract all kinds of informal networks - hippies, punks, "metal" and so on, many believe that grown "a pioneer of short pants," and want to join the Young Communist League; not like zaforma-ized pioneer movement , deliberately bodryachesky tone "activities" unrelated to the real interests and needs of children, whatever their simpany as "informal", and to the Young Communist League. That's what the questionnaire revealed.


Among the sixth graders in relation to the "informal" indefinite-neutral: "I am not interested in them" (26%), "I have no particular relationship to them" (24%). About a fifth of the respondents said that their right to exist, 18% give a positive evaluation and only 14% - very negative. In the seventh grade picture is somewhat different: the existence of "non-formals" is considered normal for 44% of the children, as "a disgrace to our country," considering them only 2%, a positive evaluation hold 26% do not have a specific relationship 28%.


As you can see, the negative attitude towards the Pioneer organization can not be uniquely associated with an interest in "informal."


Explaining the story of the Young Communist League, we asked two questions: "How old do you think you can take in the Young Communist League," and "Would you like to join the Young Communist League in this academic year?" 42% of sixth-graders called "statutory" age of admission to the Komsomol 14 years. At the same time, 32% believe that you can take from 13, and 9% - is12 years. Some guys did not answer this question. The views of respondents, respectively, seventh-graders were divided as follows: 42, 40 and 18%.


In the sixth grade readiness to join the Young Communist League have expressed only 6% of boys in the seventh to become 24%. The number of children who do not want to join the Young Communist League, the same-16%-in classes VI and VII.


These figures also do not give reason to believe that the discontent caused by the pioneering organization that attracts guys Komsomol. When comparing the data, expressing opposition to the Pioneer organization (18%) and reluctance to join the Young Communist League (16%), one can assume that these percentages are hiding behind the same guys. In fact, only a third of the children of those who believes that "the pioneer organization does not need a" do not want to join the Young Communist League.


By checking the third assumption of a negative attitude towards their organization for children: "I do not like zaformalizovannost pioneer movement" - we will answer to two series of questions, one of which was associated with the pioneering work of the organization, and the second - with the personal aspirations of students. Evaluating the existing units, squads, teams, most of the guys said: "Outdated and unnecessary" - 42% in the sixth and 52% in the seventh grade. Only 2% of respondents in each parallel believe that it is "comfortable, modern and interesting." It turned out that most guys do not like to wear a tie and the shape of a pioneer (in sixth grade 58%, at seventh 72%). Positively to the attributes 22% of sixth-graders, and there was no seventh-graders, who liked to wear a pioneering form. Then the children asked to note which of the traditional pioneering activities they like best: company officer duties, playing "Summer Lightning", shows damage, etc. It turned out that the real popularity among the older pioneers are only a game "Summer Lightning" (48% in the sixth and 20% in the seventh grade) and work at the Museum of Military Glory (respectively 14 and 8%). The remaining events are gaining more than 4%, ie, one or two students from the parallels.


Consequently, most of the traditional coercive measures is beyond the interests of children.


By asking children to the question: "If you were a member of the Komsomol committee of school, what would you suggest to do for the students of classes VI-VII?" - We offer a list of school-wide events, and 30 names of clubs, sections, clubs, studios.


The most preferred forms of study are of interest among the pioneers of classes VI and VII (in%): video shop - 82, 74; video studio - 48, 40; Tourism section - 72, 40, "beauty" - 48, 34; studio - 38, 20 ; circle Programming - 56, 34, School of disc jockeys - 20, 34; International Friendship Club - 34, 14 Club, "What? Where? When? "- 58, 28, KVN - 62.24; sports section - 64, 44.


The desire to create a video studio - is the need for children in self-employment: by shooting videos and show their peers, teachers, parents, ie, we are talking about adolescents' need for new forms of self-realization and communication. "Beauty Shop" - is the code name of the club for girls. The main objective of this club - aesthetic education at the household, the application level, in schools which have received little attention. And it was at home, in a simple conversation, in manners particularly acute lack of aesthetic principle, taste. The club girls learn skill and beautiful at the same time nevychurno choose color combinations in clothing, make different versions of hairstyles, make out the interior of the apartment, etc.


As you know, everything is relative. What was the least popular in the list of 30 names? 2% in the sixth grade, and none in the seventh - this is the attitude of respondents to the contest of military and patriotic songs. Also proved unpopular student school committee (2% in the sixth, and 4% in the seventh grade) and the Pioneer School of the asset (or 4, and 6%). Recall again that we are not asked whether they want children to engage in certain circles, clubs, sections, studios, or participate in various school-wide events. The question posed in the corresponding position of a member of the Komsomol school - this was a kind of psychological subtlety, but even she did not save the formal event.


In his application form one of the girls, emphasizing the phrase "Pioneer organization is not needed", wrote: "I do not know what function it performs." Frankly, we cease to understand it, too, especially when it comes to students of classes VI-VII.


In the first years after membership in the Pioneer organization meant solidarity with not even stronger than before the Soviet regime. It was the children's political organization. That this was its function. Decades have passed. Do I have likewise to express their solidarity with the Soviets and even the Communist Party? Today, even a traditional pioneer slogan as "Pioneer - an example to all the guys!" In our opinion, it looks ridiculous. How do guys? Indeed, this phrase contrasts the other pioneer boys nepioneram. But where are they? Even if there is an unworthy, dvoechnik or a bully, then its pointless to oppose the "exemplary pioneers" from the political point of view.


It may be argued that he says: Pioneer organization promotes education for builders of communism. But it is not only educates people, but also much more. And we made sure that the forms, methods of pioneering work, the structure of the organization, attributes are no longer meaningful to the children of classes VI-VII. And education, as we know, only effective when it takes into account the real needs of pupil.


According to a number of sociological and psychological studies have shown that children from 12 years there has been a sharp increase in interest in human society, relations between people. From the same age, an active differentiation of pupils interests. Therefore, there is the basic contradiction: uniformity of the Pioneer organization runs on the active manifestation of the interests and abilities of the adolescent.


How can that be? We believe that children should be restricted to stay in the organization of the pioneers of 12 years. As well as reducing the age of receiving the Young Communist League to 13 years and introduce a kind of candidate
