Children from the school № 947 of Moscow decided to gather every year in the neighborhood all the discarded Christmas trees. In the team there was a tradition - the first Sunday after the winter break to conduct whole-school celebration, "Farewell, a Christmas tree ! ". It is attended by residents of the neighborhood.

In preparation for the holiday, students will organize contests: which team will bring more trees, whose composition with the use of a dry tree branches prettier, whose crafts out of it interesting, original, etc.

Pupils were given the freedom of action. The children themselves decided who and what the competition part, determined search area trees, the jury nominated their representatives. A special advantage of this form of work is that children, parents and teachers fought for the honor of the class.
